Mini cake kits

A Mini Cake Decorating Kit is perfect for date nights, girls’ nights, holiday parties, or simply a little creative escapism. Slow down, have fun, and create something sweet with the people you enjoy most!

Each two-layer, 4-inch mini cake is made with quality ingredients and finished in silky-smooth white Swiss meringue buttercream—the perfect blank canvas for your creativity.

What’s Included:

  • Mini Cake: Your choice of available flavors (one flavor per order).

  • Colored Buttercream: Four cups of individually colored Swiss meringue buttercream per mini cake.

  • Custom Colors: I do my best to accommodate your color theme and vision!

  • Basic Supplies: Decorating brushes to design with.

  • Optional Extras: Add additional decorations to complete your vision!

Before You Place an Order

Placing an Order and Payments:

Cake pickups are available Thursday through Sunday. Need a cake for a different day? No worries! Cakes can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 2 weeks when stored properly, so you can plan ahead and enjoy your cake when the time is right!

Please submit your cake request at least one week (7 days) before your desired pickup date to allow time for planning, baking, and creating your custom design.

If you need a cake sooner, I may be able to accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability, but a rush fee will apply to orders placed with less than one week's notice. Rush orders are not guaranteed.

Please allow up to 48 hrs for a response. I will reach out via Email to confirm your request and give you a final quote (Keep an eye out on your email and spam folder!)Once your order has been confirmed, a 50% deposit is due to confirm your order and can be paid through venmo or paypal. If a deposit is not paid within 48 hours, I will move onto the next customer.The remaining 50% of your order total is due before pickup.

Rescheduling

Requests to change your pickup date are subject to availability. Please provide as much notice as possible, and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

Order Changes

Changes to your cake design, size, flavor, or other order details must be requested in advance and approved by me. Please note that changes may affect the final price. Order changes are subject to availability.

Cake Care

Once your cake leaves the Mood Cakes Studio kitchen it is your responsibility to care for the cake according to the care care instructions provided to you. You are responsible for any damage to the cake that occurs to the cake after pick-up.

Pickup & Late Arrivals

Pick-up location is off of 71 and Highway 304. At this time, delivery is case by case and only offered in Bastrop. A delivery fee will be charged.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled pickup. I offer a 15-minute grace period. If you anticipate being late, please text me as soon as possible to let me know. Arrivals beyond the grace period may require a new pickup arrangement, depending on my availability and may be subject to a late fee.

Allergens

Please be advised that cakes prepared in the Mood Cakes Studio kitchen will contain gluten, wheat, eggs, and dairy. The kitchen is not a nut free facility.

While steps to minimize risk and safely handle the foods that contain potential allergens are taken, please be advised that cross contamination may occur.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

  • Deposits: The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup: If you have paid in full, you will receive a refund equal to 50% of the total order cost.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup: If you have paid in full, you will receive a refund equal to 25% of the total order cost.

Please note that cancellation requests are based on your scheduled pickup time.
